Doctor Who - 5x11 The God Complex

Well, I'm not going to be extremely analytical here simply because the Doc has been messing with my head so much this season. I do have a few theories concerning the Doctor himself, River Song, and the future of the story.

Subject: River Song.
Melody Pond, Child of the TARDIS, ZOMG she's a time lord, whatever you call her. She regenerated twice, gave Berlin hell, then saved the Doctor via using all her remaining regenerations. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think I heard a mention of something like that in the old series. Either that, or I'm thinking Mawdryn Undead, which was a different case. Either way, Doc's back, and miss hard-coded assassin realizes she doesn't wanna kill the Doctor. I think she might have a relapse before the season finale. Either that, or there's a specific reason for that to happen. I mean, future encounters showed her to feel guilt towards Eleventy. I'm sure that, if she were to be sane at the time of killing him, the guilt would eat her up alive unless she had to. Anyways, enough of that.

Now let's talk about River Song before Eleven was Eleven. The last time she met him; the first time he met her. I'm talking Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead. Who was River Song? She was a space archaeologist with a TARDIS diary, a Ten-style sonic screwdriver, and the single bit of information many of us fangirls would kill for. Not much else. She was serious, then, as well. It may have been late enough in her life that her emotions wouldn't affect her as much, but I have a hard time linking that River to Melsey Pond.

Subject: The Doctor
Okay, I know he's not as happy-go-lucky as he appears to be. Amy saw that. After The Girl Who Waited, Rory saw it, too. He does take hard decisions seriously, but he has the wits and emotional stone wall to do it. Oh, now don't get all squawky on me, saying he got all mushy with Rose and the others, you'll sound like an old nostagia filter. Rose actually served a purpose in shaping the Doctor's personality. Many, actually. Don't as me to explain, please. ANYways. He knows his death is coming. He doesn't seem to be trying to stop it or run away. Not now, at least. Ten and Fivey did more than enough running for everyone, if I recall. So, what do I think? I think he'll play it out and go with the flow. But he WILL have a backup plan. He always does. Which leads to...

Subject: To be Continued...
Ok, so the previews give us two things: Craig, and Cybermen. If Amy and Rory are in this next episode at all, it'll be at the end. If not, they will most likely be in the finale. The end of The God Complex wasn't their final goodbye.

Okay, so that was pretty analytical. I'm going to sleep now. Peace out.

Warehouse 13 Recap - 3x01 The New Guy

I know Episode 3x10(Insatiable) just went off, but, due to personal issues, I missed a good chunk of the episode. I am planning on rewatching it, of course, but not now. I realized, however, that I never did any sort of fan theory recap on, well, any of the shows I watch. Well, I caught up with Warehouse 13 and Eureka in time to watch tonight's episodes live, so let's rewind.

3x01 - The New Guy
The season opener. Artifact was the Lost Folio of William Shakespeare At last we left our crew, Myka had quit after the capture of Helena G. Wells, citing her mistake in judging Wells as her reason. Now, Claudia and Artie are on their way to dispel an artifact-related crisis. An ATF agent gets in their way, and they try to lie their way past him. No dice. Claudia resolves the crisis, but not without a few raised eyebrows. Shortly after, this ATF agent finds himself in the same situation as Pete and Myka were in just two years prior.

Subject: Myka Leaving
I was surprised when Myka just up an left like that, but I figured she wouldn't be gone for long. Or hoped, at least. Most of us did. I don't doubt there were some Myka-haters doing the victory screech that night, though. I was relieved to see her pop back up, even as a cashier in the bookstore rather than an agent, but I knew she couldn't just waltz back in to her old job as a super-secret magic trinket collector. I had thought that she would be outright denied, or that she wouldn't have tried to go back with the incident with Wells still hanging over her.

Subject: Enter Jinks
I like Jinks. I liked him in the beginning, though the hate-beams were going as the fanbase threatened to split over Jinks vs Myka. The Polygraph ability struck me as another instance of Pete's vibes. That sort of mysterious thing that may or may not be semi-psychic abilities. It adds to the universe. It does to me, at least. That aside, I do like him as a character. Interesting to see where things lead.

In the Beginning...

Is everyone here? Good, we can get started.

Like most people, I watch TV. I don't spend a lot of time channel surfing, but I do have a group of shows I like to watch. I will give you a fair warning, however, that I am very much a fangirl. I get into the stories I watch. That being said,  I am at least as imaginative as anyone else, and I have come to formulate my own ideas about what's to come. Maybe for the big picture, maybe for one or two characters. That's why I have created this blog: to have a place for such theories to be written out and possibly shared.

...Not that I want everyone to see what I think is gonna happen, but I'm interested in this sort of thing, and I know others are. If you are, and would like to ask questions, discuss the shows, or engage in a friendly debate, go ahead. A warning, though: Attempts to flame or escalate a debate into a fight WILL be dealt with. Also, please check the date of the post, as well as the information I provide, before taking the time to comment. Most of my theories will be Jossed in future episodes, so I will be specific about which episode I watched before my theory came to fruition.

If you're okay with that, then we shouldn't have a problem. Good? Good.
